The Faculty of Translation Studies
At present, two professional bachelor’s degree study programs in translation studies are being offered, and upon the completion of the programs, the students can get bachelor’s degree and a qualification of translator/ interpreter either in:
• English –Latvian – Russian or German languages,
• German –Latvian – Russian or English languages.

Duration of studies in both programs is four academic years or 8 semesters. Within the study program, it is possible to acquire translating skills in two official languages of the European Union – English or German.

The Faculty offers a graduate (master’s degree) program in written translation “Translation and Terminology”.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration

Currently, the Faculty offers an academic 4-year undergraduate study program with majors in:
• managerial accounting and finances;
• marketing and logistics;
• entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea Region (courses in this specialization are taught in English)

It is possible to continue the studies in the professional master’s degree study program in order to get the degree of Master of Business Administration.

The Faculty of Information Technologies offers and runs four study programs:
• the academic undergraduate studies in computer sciences (3 years)
• college level (i.e. First Level)  studies in IT (2,5 years)
• the academic graduate studies in computer sciences (2 years)
• college level (i.e. Second Level)  studies in IT (1 year).
